SS420 is a martensitic stainless wire for Arc Spray, with a composition of 13% Cr, 1% Si, 1% Mn and balance Fe. CQ can confirm carbon content against the requested application. The deposit is described as dense, well bonded, corrosion resistant, low in shrinkage and readily machinable.
Coating data include HRC 40-45 hardness, 6,500 psi bond strength, a deposit rate of 10 lbs/hr/100A and 70% efficiency. Supply options are 1.6 or 2.0 mm on a 15 kg D300 spool, plus 3.17 mm coils from 20 to 400 kg. CQ can confirm surface preparation, cleaning and roughening steps for the requested application.
