HYF NiCrAl is a nickel-chromium-aluminium alloy powder produced by Huayin for PTA welding. The aluminium forms a protective alumina layer at high temperature, and together with chromium it provides oxidation and hot-corrosion resistance. It is a common choice as a bond or protective layer for components exposed to severe heat.
PTA welding allows thick, well-bonded overlays via a plasma arc, suiting thermal equipment, turbines and power components under repeated thermal shock. Powder feed, plasma current and deposition rate must be set per component to reach the desired thickness and bond; CQ distributes Huayin powder with accompanying technical support.
Used for protective overlays on thermal equipment, turbines, power components and zones requiring oxidation, hot-corrosion and thermal-cycle resistance.
