Product description
Measuring-instrument stands and holders are support accessories that secure measuring devices while inspecting the dimensions and geometric deviations of a workpiece. Using a suitable stand increases stability, reduces the influence of operator handling and improves the accuracy of measurement results.
Depending on the type of measuring instrument and the practical application, stands fall into main groups: Magnetic Stands, used to mount straight-stem and lever-type dial indicators for checking runout, concentricity, flatness and workpiece position; Granite Base Comparator Stands, which combine a highly stable granite surface plate with a dial indicator for precise comparative measurements; and Micrometer Stands, used to hold micrometers in place for more convenient operation and reduced error when inspecting many parts in succession. These stands are widely used in QC rooms, metrology laboratories and precision machining factories.
